Frequently Asked Questions

These are the most asked questions. You can browse these or contact us.

Will it fit through my door?

Every product page lists the assembled size and, separately, the carton size. The carton is the one that has to clear the doorway, and for anything that ships flat the two are quite different. Measure the narrowest point of the route in — a turn at the top of a staircase catches more sofas than a front door does.

Who carries it in, and do you assemble it?

Two-person delivery carries it into the room you want, unwraps it, assembles it and takes the packaging away — no flat-pack boxes left in the hall. Pieces that need assembly say so on the product page, along with roughly how long it takes.

How much is delivery, and how long does it take?

Kerbside delivery is free on orders over $999; below that the charge is calculated at checkout from your address. In-stock pieces are dispatched within a few days. Anything made to order shows its lead time on the product page before you buy, not after.

What if it is wrong once it is in the room?

Return most items within 30 days in their original condition for a refund or exchange. Furniture looks different at home than it does on a screen, and that is not a reason to be stuck with it.

Can I order something you do not have in stock?

Yes. Ask in the showroom and an associate can place a special order against the maker’s current lead time. You are given a ready-by date at the till, and that date is what we hold ourselves to even if the maker slips.

How is it built, and how long is the guarantee?

Frames are kiln-dried hardwood, jointed and corner-blocked — the part you never see, and the reason a sofa is still firm in ten years. Frames carry the maker’s guarantee, measured in years rather than months, and the exact term is on each product page. Spare parts are kept in stock so a worn cushion does not mean a new sofa.
